Release Date: November 2012
Involving and powerful vocals, fit to make a true assault at the microphone and break loose a moody and harmonic typhoon inside that one; very interesting arrangements with the guitar that plays the main role, used, as always, to make a duet with the female singer. Only 5 tracks, unfortunately, are really few and you find yourself gazing in a very angry way the speakers of your Hi-Fi system, while you hope it starts again to spread out the music. Alexx Calise's “AC3” is that, and sorry if it seems to you not enough what I say.
The third release of the American singer (AC3 stands for Alexx Calise 3rd Album, after the debut Morning Pill, 2007, and 'In Avanti', 2010) has been self-produced and homemade recorded with Wes Michener (who featured with Manson, Puddle of Mudd and Motorhead) and it's a little treasure: aggressive, full of energy, painted in an angry melancholy.
That's EP is another sample of this talented bad girl, who likes to say in the credits, she hates the comparisons but that she thinks her third work is stylistically close to Weezer, Foo Fighters and Alanis Morrisette. To be honest, I don't agree with Alexx: she is not on the same level of the Canadian singer: defiantly, I could guess she got the talent to be better than her. Do not forget to keep your eye on her: she got what it takes!
